**what is Unique upgrade rework: Tldr it’s the concept that uniques from lower tiers have improved version on later tiers and that not only they can drop in the game but also that the upgrade recipe upgrade its affixes, each

So a normal Unique can drop as normal, exceptional or elite in hell, but you can also upgrade the normal and exceptional ones**

Improvements to the Unique are based on its current version and the Spirit of it, it’s perceived lore. These upgrades version are not focussed on power but rather creating a diverse endgame itemization opening a vast selection of build enabling and build enhancing uniques

Special perks:

  • doubled the untouched affixes

  • Lycander is the angel from who the Sightless Eye order has been created, to protect the sightless eye, a relic that allowed Lycander to communicate with her Nephalem lover Philios. For that reason her bow in its elite version spawns rogues back to life uncorrupted to give them a last chance to redemption

  • Her relic being an “Eye” makes it perfectly logical to grant “inner sight’” which could have been “ignore target defence” but in that form help allies

Extra info on the concept:

Hell is the real difficulty, norm and NM are tuned down difficulty to train and progress. Your character when you first spawn in hell A1 is the start of the real story, norm and nm only there to simulate the progression your hero did before arriving at the rogue camp. Meaning all previous tiers, norm& exceptional, are tuned down and only there for gameplay purpose. Upgrade recipe allows them to gain back their true nature

Lore wise, there is no such thing as norm/nm/hell as much as normal/exceptional/elite. Everything is on the same tier, so it makes sense that if there is an elite version of Death web there is an elite version of Ice blink with hell capabilities*

Meaning a Normal Unique/sets now has a Exceptional and elite version

Pretty cool but I think 50% chance to cast 50 inner sight on attack is like, way too much. More reasonable/realistic would be something like 20% chance to cast level 20 inner sight on hit. But I like that idea for sure. It shouldn’t get the extra dex/energy boost, 20 in each is plenty. Damage and defense and IAS increase values are fine though. And the reanimate is fine too. One of your better reworks tbh.

Lycanders is already an great bow for every magezone variation to start into the endgame, and can be traded incredible cheap for its power. 40 IAS 70 Stats and 2 effects are just total OP, it puts lycanders far too near to high end runewords for some PGs and medium runes. +A1 merc now can use Amazon bows, so uncurrupted rogue army for everyone…

And i have no clue why you are wasting your time on this. None of this will ever be officially implemented by blizz. At this point you may should just make your own mod :stuck_out_tongue: It’s not that complicated, and there are (atleast 20 years ago there have been) some very good guides to start modding.

Why would it be way too much when stuff like Faith have « ignore target defence » which is basically inner sight level

It’s not like if it’s « always hits » which invalidates Ar, Defence and monster level

Also, maybe for dext but saying energy is too high is laughable considering how it’s by a mile the worst stats of the 4

Also, as mentionned in the Op, numbers aren’t the topic, they are merely there for demonstration purpose

Level 50 is -3615 defense which equal 0 defense for every monster in game… For reference Uber Baal has the highest base defense in the game at 3150.

ITD doesn’t work for unique mobs and act bosses but this would render both Diablo and Baal to ZERO armor.

It’s cute that you think this can compete with Insight or Harmony in a +3 bow skills base… :rofl:

All this ignoring the fact that it’s been made clear that numbers in this topic are only for demo purpose

And ignoring the fact that if such change is made, hopefully, most likely more and harder content is added to the game
