Adds 27-53 Cold Damage - 6 Second Duration
Adds 35-95 Fire Damage
Adds 1-120 Lightning Damage
3% Chance To Cast Level 6 Hydra When Struck
5% Chance To Cast Level 7 Nova When Struck
5% Chance To Cast Level 9 Frost Nova When Struck
All Resistances +25-35 %

Tiamat rebuke[Elite]:
+140-200 % Enhanced Defense
Adds 108-212 Cold Damage - 6 Second Duration
Adds 140-380 Fire Damage
Adds 1-480 Lightning Damage
12% Chance To Cast Level 24 Hydra When Struck
20% Chance To Cast Level 28 Nova When Struck
20% Chance To Cast Level 36 Frost Nova When Struck
All Resistances +25-35 %

If you want a certain Unique to be reworked through the upgrade system, please share which one, it’ll be fun to thinker on how to make it more interesting and endgame viable

Recap on what the Unique upgrade rework is:

Lore wise, there is no such thing as norm/nm/hell as much as normal/exceptional/elite. Everything is on the same tier, so it makes sense that if there is an elite version of Death web there is an elite version of Ice blink with hell capabilities

and set that can be upgrade now have alternate versions

Meaning a Normal Unique now has a Exceptional and elite version

Tldr: Hell is the real difficulty, norm and NM are tuned down difficulty to train and progress. Your character when you first spawn in hell A1 is the start of the real story. Meaning all previous tiers, norm& exceptional, are tuned down. Upgrade recipe allows them to gain back their true nature

Your version is too OP imo, skill levels are too high. Make it level 13 hydra, 20 nova, and 27 frost nova, and okay. Already is a good shield as it is, then you buff the elemental damages which is fine, then you buff the chance to cast which is fine, but having the skills so high on top of all that is too much imo.

I don’t think they are too high

Why?

Because they don’t have synergies

Most ctc are garbage because they are unsynergize and too low of a level to compensate their lack of synergies

Meaning that a lvl 13 hydra does 95-113… which is nothing

Which is the equivalent of a lvl 6 synergized hydra

Lvl24 Hydra is pretty much your lvl13 but synergized

Then comes the point where it can be used by a sorc that has the synergies to go with those higher skill lvl triggers… they are “on struck” which isn’t a natural position for a sorc to abuse

If somebody want to maximize them, all merits to them for making a “hit me” sorc build

Yes, I realize they wont have synergies.

They are still too high. Especially at that CTC%. And the buffed elemental damages. The shield is already good now and used as a weapon swap option along with something like Gimmershred to deal with physical immunes on a physical zealot for example. You would make it far too powerful with your proposed changes. That’s why I’m here to rein your ideas in to a more realistic and more balanced value.

Somebody that see good in everything the game has to offer

This isn’t the reality for the majority

Tiamat is a meh shield

You ask to the playerbase if they’d use it as an endgame shield and pretty sure 99.99% of people would say not

Being decent for a very fringe bad build doesn’t excuse it for being bad for the rest of the build selection

That’s the goal of this unique upgrade rework system, upgrade them to have a little touch of something interesting to make them usable endgame for more than 1 memebuild

Well one thing that should be considered is base stats upgrading with base item. Upgrading to elite should upgrade the base stats imo especially for set upgrades.

Tiamats is actually pretty decent. Usually my go to shield on a zealer until a hoz. And as mentioned, is good on swap for dealing with physical immunity
