Daily skill tweak #4: Fire/cold/magic arrows

skills: Magic/fire/cold arrows

Skills flaw: gets their whole identity stolen and outshined by subsequent iterations

Skills change:

  • Same change for all 3
  • Gain additional arrow

Option 1) +1 arrow every Xskill

Option 2) multishot as a synergy which grants +0.2arrow each skill

Option 3) a mixt of 1&2

That way these single target bow skills become more interesting and different than their descendants by getting inspiration from multishot but leaving multishot far ahead in its perk

For example: with option 1 being “+1/6skill” fire arrow would have 7 arrows at level 36… multishot has that at lvl 5 and can get as many as 24 arrows

I think it would really help if there would be magic, rare and unique bolts and arrows instead.

Also make more stronger throwing potion options.

The problem is that the arrow effects don’t stack

Which would be great imho

I often brought up this feature buff, which would allow the bow builds to have to paths

Power bows and effect bows

Which would make bows like kuko shakaku, raven claw, wizendraw, etc more interesting

On top of this I also suggested a cube recipe where with simple ingredients you can buff your quivers

Explosive potion+quiver= Quiver with “fires explosive arrow” affix

Rancid potion+ quiver= quiver with “fires poison explosion arrows”

Oil potion+ quiver= Immolating arrows

Explosive potion + thawing+ quiver= freezing arrows

Endurance potion + quiver = magic arrows

etc

This formula makes throwing potion more interesting on the “pickable” aspect
