Oh, I am not buying this trash game at all. I played the Beta and while the story looks really good, I REALLY do not like players being able to just barge in and just take my kills on whatever maps. Diablo should never be an open world game. I hate open world games for three good reasona.
The first good reason is that I can’t make friends on an open world game. Know why? Because I can spend litearl HOURS shouting in all caps, talking in normal font. Walking up to players and saying hello or joining whatever general chat I can find and not only will 99% of what everyone is talking about be completely foreign to me, but No one will ever respond to anything I have to say. The only places where this doesn’t happen is Reddit, Internet Forums, Facebook…you know…places where you are forced to see what other people are typing and where you directly interract with what they had made instead of it just being a passing text on a text box 100 other people are looking at.
No one ever helps me when I need it but will always ask me for free stuff or to carry them when I am actually the one who needs it. Hell, even that weird pony based chat game I was ignored entirely and those are my peeps! I spent 20 minutes walking my avatar around trying to just say hello and get at least an introduction from someone or give one out myself and contant ignorement.
2, PVP Areas and non shared loot. I hate pvp with a passion. I am not some elite super gamer with skills. If I were a video game character and I was in Call of Duty, or any battle royal game, or a battlefield or destiny etc… I would be lesser than a NPC at level 1 on easy mode as my skill level regardless of how much I try to “git gud”.
Now, Take me away from human beings. Take me away from having to need quick emotionless and doing ultra instinct moves with my hands and eyes reacting with fast twitch muscles on the controller to eek out a billionth of a second before my opponent…remove ALL of that…and I am Agent 47 on literally any video game. Especialy Hit man. Diablo might not be a game where I can just take my time like in hitman but I can plan my approach, run away, back off and then come at it again from another angle. Spending minutes or even hours planning my next move is what I excel at best and Open world games where you have players competing with each other and worst yet, competing for loot drops even when you DO work together is just lame. I only play with others on d2 to level up and nothing more. I password lock everything else to force everyone away from my loot. I played d2 lod for 10 years before I finally stopped and not once did I ever get anything good in drops. Because every time something good dropped like a high rune or a good item there was always 100% of the time someone else there with a faster internet connection, a hack that auto picked up anything worth anything good which was the worst thing ever, or they were two pixles closer to the item then I was. I hate it. I hate it so bad. I hate it more than that down dynrome kid hates jimmy.
The skill systems in open world games all suck really bad. Especially this one. I hate the spider web skill selection screen because I can’t freaking read anything, follow any logical lines down a particular path towards something I want. It just looks random. Plus the wasting skill points on some niche upgrade for a power and then capping all skills at like level 5 it looked like? Wtf? Hell no.
Oh and the game runs like crap too. Especially necromancers.
Why not. Launch the same game twice for only 10% more effort. Same thing FF14 did… except they got it right round 2. I think D3 actually went downhill lol. I’d actually have played D3 more if they’d left the AH in.
find a hobby bro so many of yall remain active in their forums just to yap about how bad the company/their product is. i don’t understand how you have nothing better to do with your time. no one cares. go and find something that you enjoy and makes you happy.
Good work Nostradamus. They literally already told us there’s two levels of battle pass and have slapped the highest retail price on a game possible.
Of course it’s a cash grab, you think they haven’t haemorrhaged money like crazy in the past few years? I mean look at their releases shadowlands, overwatch 2, Diablo immortal, Arclight, it’s been a complete s-show since Diablo 3 over there at Blizz HQ.
It’s 100% accurate. They don’t put RMAH in a game that’s not a cash grab. The fact that you think they do entirely invalidates any opinion you may have on any subject
i would, but they made a more efficient way to lvl, unfortunately they also made that “more efficient way to lvl” absolute pain. waiting for a good tz because it’s 4x faster than baal or chaos.
tz xp needs to be toned down so baal / diablo doesn’t seem like a complete waste of time when the TZ is absolute trash. or else, change how tz work. but, i’ve said this too many times already and they aren’t changing TZ so… fire this dev team.

Just shut your mouth and find something that makes you happy. People are so miserable. Find a new game. Of course it will be a cash grab. What company makes a game or product without the intention to make money?
maybe YOU do baal runs… i don’t. i just MF. regularly… and why the 1 hour tz is painful. being forced to do one area… is… the worst. and it’s casual players that have made blizzard think this is what we want. because the masses sit in one area and then NG. thanks. casuals.
D4 is going to be the same repetition dressed up with lipstick and a pink dress. Some people might not see it but it’s there. End game is an illusion and d2 just didn’t bother setting up the magic trick
Some infinite dungeons or map system or Grindy tasks are the same thing In a different disguise. That’s what d4 will be
