Hadn’t played for a week or so and when I fired up d2r today, instead of getting the usual d2r icon on the taskbar I get a generic icon.
Anyone else experiencing this?
How to fix?

Open task manager, go to to the top and type in “Explorer” to show the Windows process. RESTART the Windows process by right clicking it… It will temporarily fix the icon in the bottom. I get this every so often as well, but don’t pay it any attention.

It worked. Next time I started d2r, I had to do it again … 
Literally first time I had this happen to me.

Are you running more than 1 instance of the game like I am? Sometimes I see 4 of them sometimes ONLY 1 is like this. I run multiple D2R – I DON’T play them all at once on my 1 PC, BUT if I leave them overnight I can end up with 4 Annis if I get lucky.
Have a Smiter on 1 account/2 Sorcs/1 Assassin.

Nope. I only own 1 account which is plenty for me. So no 3rd party programs for some additional magic. 
This temporary solution worked for me as well. Has anyone had any luck on a permanent fix for this?
