Anyone else having issues connecting to D2R, with authentication issues?
i was about to post and ask the same thing. cant log in either

all I know is I cant play any Bnet games right now, as it’s still trying to authorize my account. There is a notification they are aware of an authentication issue. But I feel it’s deeper than that, it was too random/immediate. Did they get hacked/DDoS attacked?
Those are VERY different things.
A DDoS floods a company’s websites with so much traffic they grind to a halt. That does happen fairly often to many websites.
A hack would be very different and involve a malicious party gaining access to the Authentication servers. That is not likely.
The Authentication servers handle all logins for all the North Americas games - once you get through that stage you go to the actual game servers. So, Auth being down can impact all the games in that Region for Blizzard.
