Why should they even update a remaster of a 20+ year old game at all?
Be glad they even still reset seasons. Apart of bug fixes those changes did nothing good to D2R.

the least crazy thing bravata has ever said! changes are good as long as they stay in theme with the game. no fun if the game’s identity shifts entirely forcing us back to the original game
But that is the issue.
It will just be power creep and making the game easier and easier, while implementing D3 items (Mosaic) and sucking the soul out of the game (basically removing immunities).

well yes, that is an issue. i would think less changes they introduce should be powercreep changes, and mosaic was pretty off the mark in terms of its implementation, but we havent deviated so far from the game original design that its an awful experience. as long as we keep complaining about things we dont want, surely they will adjust it, maybe? hopefully?
And what about D4?
What was the fate of Lost Ark and Diablo Immortal? Did they retain large player base after half a year?
You do realize, that D4 is basically those games, but worse?

Well from the dev live talks there is no new runewords or any major changes except for 1 unique item…Its always been this way with blizzard ignore other games while they release something else to make money

You might be the most idiotic person I’ve seen. Doesn’t matter if the game is 100 years old. Blizzard sold it again for full price at 60 bucks for a new generation of players. They literally made millions of bucks,so ya they should be updating the game. Why on earth would they not update it loll. I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.

My sentiments exactly, fantastic remaster, anything additional (changes) to me is gravy. Im not playing every patch but periodically checking to see if anything has been added to peak my interest to get me back in.

is it tho? ladder is dead after a 1-2weeks 
ladder race is over after 4days not 2weeks like before. It used to be teamwork, endless hunt for efficiency on runs. Now it’s go TZs and make all the others gtfo of TZ so you can get more exp. jsut borring
ladder 1 was alive until new patch
we need more content/game modes to enjoy. not more power creep and just giving us more rewards for same effort (Terror zones have no significant difficulty increase while giving alot more exp and loot)
