Since Blizzard is bringing OW2 to Steam, do you think it’s possible that they’ll do the same with other titles like D2R?
This move would bring in more players I imagine plus the steam market would be the perfect trading platform tbh.

Would be cool…if we take it a step further, probably a pipedream but with steam having many titles featuring crossplay, maybe one day this will be possible withd2r too… Lately I’ve been exclusively playing on the switch since I have a newborn so it would suck to miss out on an expanded game pop!

DR2 + LoD with SP achievements would be awesome, yes. Also I hope D2R will be even more moddable. Basemod & BH Lootfilter for example. Or Project Diablo 2 / SlashDiablo for D2R. A man can only dream. They would sell so much more copies then.

games from proprietary launchers going to steam usually means that they’re trying to recoup failures. everyone is mad at OW2. it’s just a desperation tactic to farm more players. it’s not a customer convenience thing.

Not sure the motive behind the move. But I expect nothing to work the same when Microsoft takes over. Perhaps everything moves to steam, perhaps everything stays.
