Hi there,
for the PS5 there is a PS4 and a PS5 version of D2R for download. After I loaded my PS4 saves (offline game) from the cloud to the PS5, I wanted to continue playing with the PS5 version (better graphics, frame rate, etc.), but unfortunately I can’t get the PS4 offline saves into the PS5 version.
Then I installed the PS4 version and voila, everything was there.
Does anyone have an idea how I can get the savegame into the PS5 version, it would be a real shame if that didn’t work.

Cross platform is a lie. It’s only relevant if u buy multiple copies of the game and even then it’s limited to online characters.
Hi ! Have you tried by any chance loading a PS5 save with the PS4 version launched on the PS5 ?

No offense, but I will just stop by to steam off and rant here… I pre ordered the game on both PC and PS4 exited to cross-play, only to realize there is no offline cross-save like Civ6 does. Now I finally bought a PS5 exited to play with the uplifted version, just to realize again I cannot use my PS4 save with 400 hours progression or convert it like Avengers does. My sincere gratitudes to the dev team for this Resurrected edition, it was a marvelous job. Yes I’m one of those dudes who do not care about Battle.net and used to play over TCP/IP with friends over dial-up connection. A sad end for me to the D2 story, but my geek nature cannot go back to the PS4 version after I have seen how it looks and loads as PS5. So a great game goes to the dusty shelf forever this time I think. Cheers!
This game is a fraud product that’s being sold as something it’s not, why would you expect them to let us do anything?
