All of the sudden, in the middle of a Catacombs TZ yesterday around 1-2pm MST & ever since, I’ve been dropping most of my frames on D2R. I was playing beforehand for years with 60-120 fps without issues & suddenly started dropping to 6-20 FPS depending on the location. I’ve tested on other games (ex: Halo MCC) & the problem is local to D2R. Uninstalling & reinstalling the game has not helped & I have also tried a clean install for graphics card drivers. Changing the graphics quality to low for everything without effect. Edit: Issue is present online & offline. One very odd item: I typically play on controller but if I both switch to mouse & keyboard and use legacy graphics, the FPS goes back to 100+. However if I use D2R graphics and / or a controller, the FPS returns to 6-20, at which 6 FPS is unplayable, particularly where I play on HC.
