D2R doesnt starting only crashing

i saw some topics here, but i also do my own now.
first my pc is up to date - reinstalled ALL, drivers up to date and never had any problem with it.
after doing and trying everything i wrote a ticket on the technical support but after hours waiting for an answer i only got a typical standart mail from them like update your drivers and so on. i mean… wtf i did everything before - we are not dump. just saying.

pressing play - bnet launcher minimized - gamecrash report with everytime another ID for reporting (no discription on the crash whats the problem) - bnet launcher opens again and thats it.

my pc:
RTX 4080
Win11 64
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D

the last time i played d2r was month ago, alway worked fine but i think the new update have anything to do with this crash problem right now.

and for others with this problem, do you have the same specs? maybe its there a issue.

also, im depressed because this forum and d2r feels dead when it comes to support or help from a mod/staff… its sad to bought a game u cant play and nobody helps with it.

I have been trying to get help for this issue since early this year. Tech support is non existent. I have never seen anyone reply to my or others’ post on this issue. They are only focused on their p2w games.

Blizzard support for D2:R is basically non-existent. If you want to get their eyes on the issue, you’ll have better luck creating a support ticket:

I’ve heard people having trouble with the game if they’re using display overlay programs, such as frame counter programs and CPU/GPU monitoring (FRAPS, RIVA Tuner) or any other on-screen display popup software. If you use anything like this, try temporarily turning them off. If this applies to you and turning them off works, try checking for updates to the display overlay software.

Other than that, it could be another program or service on your system causing the problem. You can try disabling any 3rd party startup programs and services:

3rd party programs:
Disable all startup programs through the task manager. If it works, go through and enable 50% of the disabled startup programs, reboot and try again. If it’s still working, enable another 50% of the remaining disabled startup programs, and so on… If the problem comes back after enabling some startup programs, then you’ll be closer to zeroing in on what startup program(s) is/are causing the problem.

3rd party services:
Disable all 3rd party services by running “system configuration” or “msconfig”, going to the services tab, checking the “Hide all Microsoft services”* box, then disabling everything else. You can go through and do the same process of enabling half of the disabled services, rebooting, testing as mentioned with the startup programs.

:warning: *It’s very important to make sure that “Hide all Microsoft services” is checked on the services tab every time when disabling services through System Configuration/msconfig, otherwise you may inadvertently disable critical Windows services, including the services Windows uses for network communication, preventing you from connecting to the internet!

:bulb: If you do accidentally disable critical Windows services, just run system configuration again, and on the “General” tab, select “normal startup” and reboot.
