d2r doesn’t launch, when i push play button nothing happens
got this message in blz-log

haven’t played this game long time (stoped before s1 start) and now i cant launch it =(

Same issue. It ran fine on my PC until around month ago when there was an update.
Things done at this point

  • disabled firewall
  • reinstall d2r
  • reinstall battlenet launcher
  • checked files for corruption
  • updated graphics card

EDIT: For those who are desperate - upgrading from win 10 to 11 helped

same issue, played not for a long time.
now i log in, updates for app and d2r. push play button after scanning files.
nothin happening

all other installed games are working … sod, bg3, cp etc

If you look at the record, there have been the same errors in the past and have been resolved through patches.
Looking at the same error again, it doesn’t look like I’m applying the previously discovered bug while updating it last month, so please fix it.

tried reinstall and newest grafik driver, from 536 to 537 ^^

yes, i gave my win defender permissions for d2r exe and d2r launcher … disable win defender only didnt worked for me …

I have the same issue. After the last update the game does not launch. I have even opened a support ticket and after 8 replies they are still not able to figure out what is causing this.

I seen a couple of things about this issue after doing some extensive lookup.
The following has worked for some people:
•Set the monitor’s screen resolution to 1920x1080
•Disable/Exit GeForce Experience (it Auto-Optimizes games and causes problems?)
•Disable integrated Intel GPU. (If you have already a graphics card).
•Removing characters from your Single Player that have been modified with an editor or have “strange” gear, causing game to crash.
