This is all just new to YOU since you’re visiting for the new DLC.
You showed up on day one acting like the game should rearrange itself around whatever you expected, and then you’re shocked when people push back. That’s why I asked the travel question. When you go somewhere new, do you demand the locals change everything to match what you’re used to, or do you adjust to where you are?

You’re playing a game that has twenty‑plus years of identity behind it.
And you’re already insisting the mechanics should be rewritten because they don’t bend to your will.
That’s not thoughtful feedback. That’s tourist energy. You walked into a long‑established system, didn’t bother to understand how it works, and immediately started demanding convenience features because you don’t want to engage with the actual design.
If you want a game that bends to every complaint and hands out power on demand, there are plenty of mobile titles waiting for you. Diablo II isn’t built for that, and it never has been.
Maybe play a week or two before demanding change.

I am only asking for the Tourist to stop demanding changes to things they just haven’t bothered to understand and are just experiencing for the first time.
200 hours isn’t even scratching the surface of D2R, I have well over 1800 hours and am still searching for chase items. (happily)

I wasn’t “asking for anything,” I was replying to a post and talking about design. You read that as some kind of personal attack because you don’t actually process what’s written, you just react.
If 200 hours and “since 2002” is your big credential, maybe spend a little less time flexing your playtime and a little more time on reading comprehension. It would help your gameplay a lot more if you actually understood how the systems work instead of swinging at shadows in every thread.
These are the only points worth addressing:
A. Console UI is intentional, not a mistake
· It’s designed for lock‑on, readability, and accessibility.
B. His personal preference doesn’t override platform design
· He’s asking for a feature removal that would harm the majority of console players.
C. He’s new and reacting emotionally
· He’s not giving feedback — he’s venting.
