What builds do you recommend for D2R Classic?

Due to ww mechanics differences in D2R classic ww with a exceptional 2 hander for example a 200%ED Martel de Fer is a good choice ( bonesnap ain’t bad either). ofc berzerk to handle Phycically immunes. due to ww diffeences i classic you don’t need fast 2 handers to reach 4fpa you’ll be rocking 1fpa even with such thing as Martel de Fer.
bad barb build…
even after the changes throw barb in classic is terrible ( i mean it’s a good starter build but it starts to struggle early on and you won’t likely finish hell with it) there are no way of obtaining magical or rare thrown weapons… the best you could get is a perfect superior +15%ED +3AR,
superior harpoon being the ultimate weapon due to new amount of stack. it’s meh all around.
Sorc:
shines only with specific gear…
you want to spec for dual elements blizzard/orb with cold mastery and fireball/hydra with fire mastery… static field is 1 point wonder as in classic it can down mobs hp to 1 hp even in nightmare and hell unlike expansion
shard, magefists, wall of the eyeless, are a musthave if you manage to get magic or rare amulet with +2sorc skills and +10%FCR and a good FCR ring the 105% fcr breakpoint is top notch for sorc in classic ( remember +2 amulets are only from gamble or hell diablo)…

meh builds in classic
smitter, charger, zealer are meh in classic you’ll struggle with physical immunes.
Necro:
summon necro
summon necro is doable just get access to iron maiden and clay golem in normal before act4
act 1,2,3 normal you can hire mercs in towns to help you act 4 has no merc so you need to start off somehow. cast iron maiden on mobs and put clay golem in front of them. when they kill themselves raise your skeletons and start collecting revives and march on ( normal diablo is only doable by iron maiden and claygolem spam it’s simply to early for a summon necro to do it otherwise) in nightmare start investing in summon resist and blood golem. nightmare act4 start and diablo is doable with iron maiden, though if you have sufficient summon resists and maxed out skeletons and mastery you should be fine. Hell act4 start requires signifcant investment in blood golem and summon resist. blood golem is the only one with moderate damage once high enaugh level. so you put blood golem and amp mobs to get corpses as iron maiden does very little… hell diablo is doable only with maxed skeleton mastery and skeletons some +skills gear dozen revives, and summon resistance. diablo seemes to concentrate damage on the golem first, so if golem dies recast immediately right where he stood, there are high chances diablo won’t change targets and keeps hammering the golem leaving your army intact. summon resist helps your summons with fire and lightninghose damage.
i don’t recommend sticking to iron golem ( he does not persist neither through the new game nor even via act switching).

She’s a bad pick in general
the only viable build is dual spec elemental arrows and get the only +50%IAS unique bow in the game and gear for ias and AR so things like penetrate passive angelic combo and sigons gloves + helm are a must have.
strafe and guided arrow are meh you’ll lack viable damage bow options and struggle with immunes.
same goes for javelins, there are only normal and superior javelins in classic no magic rare set uniques, and no way to bypass ligtning immunes.
decoy and valk suffer currently from the same bug as expansion does, they get 1 shotted after few recasts
