Does anyone play the classic ladder in D2R non expansion? Character builds that base on rare items is amazing! <3

Perhaps next season i’ll try ladder in D2R Classic… no point in starting now, kinda too late to even try to reach lvl 99…
lately i’m rolling mf/gf ww barb on classic. So far finding a decent Martel seemes impossible. rare martels don’t seem to drop, and whatever drops is kind of meh…
literally the Martel Cooley posted in one of builds under certain video, only has the chance to drop from Chaos (78lvl area) and martel with posted affixes requires exactly minimum ilvl78. heck even rerolling this in the cube couldn’t yeald high enaugh ilvl. as according to the cube recepie formulae ilvl is capped at 65 for 99 clvl…
the best i’ve found so far was ‘merciless martel del fer of leech’ with 86%ED, however i have no idea how this could roll on nm Halbu but it did, heck even hell Halbu is not so generous. and gambling does not yeald exceptional items wasted 3.2 mil gold and not a single martel, only great mauls.
though even what i have seemes decent damage wise coupled with goblin toes…
Non expansion got killed with 1.10. It never really recovered and has a very small playerbase.
