Please, please, please DO NOT allow D2JSP Website to be legally used for Diablo 4. It completely ruins the integrity of the game/franchise and a fresh start game/economy. Being able to have an endless amount of currency to purchase best items/gear, etc once available, at will, right out the gate is absolutely obsurred. It should be just the same as using a Real Money trading (RMT) website or in essence, paying to win in a way.
First and foremost, it’s not fair to others to be at a disadvantage right out the gate for the simple fact they have not had a third party website for 15+ years steadily stacking currency and can purchase basically anything they want with it. It kills the economy over time because they use this website to make prices on things whatever they want making it harder for newer players to get anything. The rich on that website basically set the standard for prices on everything.
This is exactly what happened in D2R. I know a countless amount of individuals who have quit that game for this very reason alone! It makes things so lopsided, especially later on down the road as the game progresses further and further. It would be much better to ban this website and make it illegal to use it or something for Diablo 4 especially, since it’s going to be (should be) the next big thing.
Don’t ruin D4 like you did by allowing peoples favorite childhood nostalgic game, D2 to be ruined with D2R because of these practices, please! It basically forces people, if they want to be “competitive”, to make an account on this third-party website just to keep up which you’ll never do if most of those people on there have had accounts before you were born with a substantial amount of useable currency.
I can even say this from having a D2JSP account since 2008, it’s just not right to do in terms of starting everyone on equal footing. Please highly consider this and take into account the bigger picture here. You’ll both have and RETAIN way more players in the long run.
Regardless D2JSP will be used in D4 for sure. Your first assumption that people are full sending their FG in anything new is just wrong. It could happen, but it doesn’t for the most part. People would be more likely to RMT their way to the top.
You actually know nobody who has quit because others had more. They either didn’t like the game or found a new game. It had nothing to do with JSP.
You actually don’t have to be competitive btw. You’re free to suck all you want. You just don’t have to complain about sucking if you don’t want to be competitive. If you want to be competitive you need to practice and take advantage of tools that make you better. You wouldn’t tell a wrestler to not lift weights because it is unfair that is makes him stronger.
Btw 99% of people who aren’t on an equal footing it has nothing to do with JSP. It is simply because they suck and aren’t competitive because they know they don’t have the commitment to do it.
jsp is a problem but so are the bots and they do nothing they are a company that is dedicated to take money from people they sure have jsp and bots 100%.
You have to be joking? The only thing that makes an action rpg worth playing is an economy/trade system based on RMT. This is how Diablo2 has always been. D2jsp has been and always will be around. They need to bring the RMAH back. The fact that there is no open trading, meaning; we won’t be able to trade the best items that drop, just makes this D3 with a different skin.
WTF is this metaphor lol. There is no competitive in this game, since there is no actual skill involved. It’s a mix of lots of free time+using 3rd party resources+being able to click a mouse button for hours.
Now, please don’t say you challenge what people have figured out 23 years ago, it’d make you look real stupid.
Look, I give a metaphor in return, in real life you usually can’t achieve things easily with just free time as brute force method. You can play chess all day, yet if you lack the intelligence or awareness you will never get anywhere. With D2 there is nothing but time investment, you play play play, while others work, play, pursue real things.
There needs to be websites like Jsp because we all know there’s not going to be a real trading platform in Diablo 4. Things like Jsp were created not just specifically to make money, but to bring people together to do actual TRADING. The feel of Trading items is great! The feeling of being rewarded is great WHICH IS SOMETHING THAT DIABLO 3 LACKED AND I’M SURE DIABLO 4 WILL LACK IT AS WELL.
If Blizzard does a good job with the trading platform, less people will use Jsp. Plain and Simple. This is a Blizzard problem, not an -us- problem.
Nothing can be done. But I thought d4 is account bound like d3 anyways… but hope yall know even if it is account bound, just like in d3, you can pay anyone FG or $$ off item sites to log onto your account and level you up…there is no difference, stop fighting it there will always be people who pay to win, just create a good game…
JSP will be used for trading currencies probably. But trading anything useful will not be done because that stuff is all bound to accounts. Unfortunately, it seems D4 not a trading game. My only hope is that it won’t be an eSporty type game like they always come out with. My bar is very low at this point.
the only way to finish with d2jsp it’s if blizzard decide and provide an easy way to report them to ban them really fast.
example you give photos or videos trading with a d2jsp user, the more FG he have in the account, better reward for you ingame in D4 and insta permanent ban of D4 and all of their other games that have in his account.
That way they can play with the fear of “this user will report me while trading d2jsp”?
that way people will join d2jsp and start hunting all the people to get rewards.
But blizzard “support” D2jsp (by doing nothing), so they will do nothing, d2jsp will be here once D4 release.
