D2 is still the best Diablo today. I prefer the classic client.

I would say mosaic is power creep and total eye cancer too. The nova sorc also got way stronger, everything else is not breaking the meta and its still the same builds claiming the top S tier ranking except now other builds can actually be played on hell difficulty

Mosaic is an even playing field. I would say keeping charges should become baseline for martial arts and the charges capped at 3 sets, unless wearing mosaic. I don’t know where people are getting the notion that mosaic in itself is even close to being anything. Without conviction it is nothing. Finally after maxing everything it is godly, like any other build. D2 is meant to be broken. Hammerdins, blizzard, nova, orb, lightning fury, all have been doing it for years. Now you get mosaic and fist of the heavens and people get jealous. The only difference is martial arts is not going to breeze through hell like the others. The others can play naked. Mosaic assassins have to get the base runes.

It should just be removed plain and simple. Very poor solution to fixing the MA tree and a complete cancer in any public game

Either you have not played mosaic or you suck at the game. Mosaic with only the 2 claws clears p8.

My favorite Diablo game. Overall maybe on my top 5 or 10 list, can’t really compare with vastly different genres out there.

Better has been done after it but the main issue was that the strong foundation of the initial game never got properly improve

Ie: the true unique upgrade I added to my mod where all the uniques have a upgrade path to Elite version

And improving the absolutely garbage crafting system

  1. rune crafting: sacrificing a rune to get a fraction of it socketed power has a permanent effect on the crafted item

The ARPG king. Amazing to think they’ve tried so hard to recreate the magic of D2 and the best iteration is actually just a fidelity remaster of the OG.
