I am playing non-ladder, opened my char in S4. NOT single player tho.
My question is, the Cure runeword is ladder-only, but ladder ended and new ladder started(S5).
Woud this make Cure available for non-ladder online?
I don’t wanna waste runes and bases.

In theory it would, but we didn’t see any notes that they took the effort to enable them on non-ladder. If you made them on ladder they are still there when you character went non-ladder. I made a few to move over, I’d offer you one if you are HC.

Unfortunately I am SC, I don’t know why but I don’t want to feel “racing” someone on this game and I never do PvP, that’s why I prefer non-ladder.
I am a bit old-fashioned, long-grinder type of player.
Worth trying actually for my Sorc build. We’ll see.
Cure works in single player offline mode. But not in nonladder online hope that helps.
Ladder-only runewords rolls over to non-ladder when new ladder only runewords are released.

Nope. The devs didn’t even feel the need to enable the 2.6 ladder runewords in NL like they’ve done after previous ladders. They just dgaf at this point, they’d rather put TLC into D4 unfortunately.
well, I didn’t actually expect it to work. I know we’re being ignored.
This seems to be what they’ve settled on, after much confusion around S1. S1 RW became available to make NL only when S3 launched with new RW. During S2, the S1 RW were still season exclusive. Similarly the S3 RW were not available to make NL during S4, and since S5 also did not introduce any new RW nor did the patch notes indicate any changes, S3 RW remain LO.
One interesting quirk is that if you make a LO RW in NL that’s not available, it will fail, but when/if those RW ever do get released to be able to be created in NL, the game will detect that the item meets the criteria, and upgrade it from a “gemmed ” to the correct RW, assuming the runes and base are all correct otherwise.
So while it makes sense to hold off for sure, if anyone does make a mistake and try to make a LO-RW in NL, it’s probably worth holding onto it to see if we get new RW next season, or at least if D2R is in pure maintenance mode, maybe they’ll throw us a bone and enable them for NL.
Legacy D2 had specific LO-RW that never were available in NL though, so if they’ve pulled support for D2R, they may feel like keeping the S3 LO-RW as LO forever is a reasonable stopping place. Personally I hope not, but we’ll see how it goes.

Just made the cure runeword on non ladder and realized that it doesn’t work, god thanks the runes are cheap. When does it finally come to non ladder after almost 1 year of waiting? I mean I could trade for one but people are going nuts and selling them for like 10 jahs…
