My control button is not working. I cannot hold control and move to stash. It just doesn’t work. Also I cannot use my controller on the PC without the game crashing every time I enter the store or stash. I think this started in the new patch. Please help!
The same problem with ps4 controller on PC. The game crashes when I try to interact with something. The problem appeared after the patch.
Ive had the same problem with an Xbox controller on PC. For some stupid reason I can play with a controller without any issues on my necromancer, but on my paladin I cannot. Anytime I enter the store, stash or use the waypoint my game automatically crashes. This is getting seriously frustrating as my Hammerdin paladin is so much fun on controller and a huge headache on mouse and keyboard.
We have seen a few reports of controller issues under specific circumstances that can cause game crashes.
One specific issue that is being investigated is with Paladins binding aura abilities to their main interact button. We recommend resetting bindings or at least removing abilities from the interact button.
We have also seen at least one report where the player was not directly connected with the controller to the system but was instead using a switch/hub. With the controller attached to the hub/switch the game would randomly crash but if they plugged directly into the system they were playing on, the crashing stopped. If this is the issue you are experiencing, we recommend reporting that over in our bug report forums.
Outside of that make sure you have all your system and hardware drivers updated including for the controller. If the issue happens on default bindings, go ahead and report that as well in the bug report forums so our QA teams can look into that as well.
