I’m a big fan of the Diablo franchise and have played for thousands of hours over 20 years however it is the biggest disappointment I’ve ever experienced from a video game that Diablo II resurrected is not cross play compatible. I have gamers in my group on Playstation Xbox and PC and none of us can play together I’m not so disappointed that I’m going to ask for a refund but it does mean that I’ll be spending dozens of hours playing instead of the hundreds or thousands that I spent playing the original. Just wanted to let my opinion be known and I hope cross play compatibility is in the future the very near future.

Too bad switch handheld happened 
I know this is an old thread but I agree it’s sad, the other day all my buddies and I wanted to play D2R cause we all play 4 and realized we can’t play together. The sad part is they probably will never add it because they would have to rework the game from the ground up given it’s really the same game but with updated graphics added on top of it. And I assume blizzard wants to keep the old feel of the game the way it was. Hopefully maybe they find a way to make it work. In this day and age a game without crossplay is dead quickly cause everyone has been playing together since Fortnite, Call of Duty rocket league etc
