Crescent Moon does not work in Polearms
Crescent Moon was introduced in v1.07 and reactivated in v1.10. Since then people would have noticed a broken runeword. So either:
a) your base item was BLUE or
b) your base item has more than 3 sockets
A screenshot of your bricked polearm would help.
с) my polearm is white and have 3 sockets
Are you sure, you put it in a POLEARM and not a Spear ?
Mixing up Spears and Polearms is a common mistake.

Diablo 2R: Infinity in Spear working → Diablowiki: Infinity can be used in Polearm → Spear = Polearm. Or Diablowiki this fake site?

- Axes
- Swords
- Polearms
Infinity is the Rune Word for:
- Polearms
- Spears
Crescent Moon WILL NOT work with Spears. And Infinity WILL NOT work with Axes or Swords.
Spear ≠ Polearm
lot of the wikis arent updated for d2r. that just shows original game. spears arent polearms, there arent subclasses like that (besides weapons, melee weapons, and missile weapons) with runewords. a spear is a spear and a polearm is a polearm. a mace is a mace (and not all maces, which is more confusing)
