Crashing constantly and poor graphics

The game looks like I’m playing during the snappening (I assume most people know what that is). I just purchased an 8gb ram i3 laptop with direct x 12 and using intel arc.

When I load up the game, the opening music won’t play. My auras look all distorted and once I start moving around, the entire game will just crash.

I’ve moved all of the video settings to the lowest possible levels yet once the game is loaded it maximizes my cpu activity and memory utilization. Also the gpu clock shoots up to 1000 mhz.

Is there anything I can do to resolve this or should I just ask for a refund and continue playing on the Switch?

Are the drivers completely up to date for your system?
What Windows version do you have?
Is your I3 at least a 3250?
D2R does not support integrated graphics chips so this could be an issue.

D2R Requirements:

                	MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS	RECOMMENDED SPECIFICATIONS
OPERATING SYSTEM	Windows® 10 Windows® 10
PROCESSOR Intel® Core i3-3250 AMD FX-4350
        	        Intel® Core i5-9600k AMD Ryzen 5 2600
VIDEO Nvidia GTX 660 AMD Radeon HD 7850
Nvidia GTX 1060 AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT
MEMORY 8 GB RAM 16 GB RAM
HARD DRIVE SPACE 30 GB
NETWORK Broadband Internet connection
RESOLUTION 1280 x 720

My computer has an i3-1115G4, does that mean even if I got an i5 1235u, I’d still be SOL (not to be confused with the rune)

your computer has 8gb ram. Your Arc GPU although not specifically supported does have similar capabilities.

Different Arc Models and Scaling:

Run DXDiag and see which Model it is and how much Display Memory it has. I suspect you have the 3 since you are running an i3. the 3 only has 8 XE cores and 6 gb ram. Is 8 XE cores on a gpu enough for D2R is the question. Other graphics cards have in the range of 1000+ FP cores.
