Crash on login while "connecting to battle net"

everytime i try to start the game it crashes. i get the screen to “press any key” to start the game but after pressing a key the game tries to “login to battle.net” and crashes instantly. reinstalling the game, the driver of my graphic card and all other tips from Abstürze und Freezes bei Diablo II: Resurrected - Blizzard-Kundendienst didnt help at all

ok i found it out by myself. deinstalling didnt remove everything.

go to C:\Users\"your_username"\Saved Games\Diablo II Resurrected
delete that folder, too (i dont know if its because of the save games or because of the settings so if you want to try to keep your save games only delete “settings.jason” and test it for yourself)

ok i found out what to do by myself. deinstalling didnt delete everything because the game settings and singleplayer save games are saved in a different folder. (it should be C:\Users\ your_username\Saved Games\Diablo II Resurrected)
removing that folder too did solve it for me. idk if its the “settings” or if the save games are incompatible somehow. if you want to keep the saves just remove the “settings.json” and test for yourself if its enough to get back into the game. if it isnt: remove the save games as well (i wanted to restart with the new patch anyway so i didnt try to keep them)

I was really hopeful this would work for me, but sadly it didn’t. I really wish they were providing any level of support after this patch.
