Hello, I tried for the first time to craft some caster amulets… Well, I linked to a player for price check and he said “all thrash”.
I was so disappointed, is there the possibility of post images of them to have another opinion?
Second question, I used items got in lvl92 areas of terror zones. (I thought they were high enough ,sadly I cannot see item lvl, it hurts. In PoE I used to see ilvl and rolls range. Really really useful for noob like me.)
When crafted some amulet LV required is over 90, others lower and with bad affixes and values, I’m really confused.
Last question, I have seen in a video charms with 3 affix, huge. Even in hell I obtained 2affix only. (The luckiest one is a 40+vit and 15ares monster, someone said worth some Ber) I keep it cause is so useful.
Thanks in advance if someone will answer me. Actually I lurked some sites for info, stats and guides but I am not so smart enough to understand most of thing.
When crafting amulets, in order to insure you get the ilvl you need for maximum no of affixes use a level93+ char and gamble for those amulets. Valid for any craft. Gamble for the bases.
+2 to class skills/10+FCR are the most valuable.
Thanks for the knowledge. Actually my highest char is at lv90. But with Baalruns and chaos runs goes up in exp so slowly, I hope to do terror cows or terror the previous 2 mentioned to increase exp gained. (I die too much I think)
To get the possibility of 2 to skills you need an “output level” of 90. That is the average between your characters level and the item level.
Compare your amulet to a maras kaleidoscope which is worth say an ist with 20 res and an ohm with 28 res and Lo+ at 29 or 30 res.
To be valuable it MUST have 2 to skills. Also, you are looking for a “double roll” of fcr which can get you up to 20% fcr. To attain certain breakpoints, sorc and barb both need 20% on the dot, while other classes reach their breakpoints comfortably with a different value over 10. For example a druid amulet with 17% fcr is no better than an 8% fcr amulet. If the amulet had 18% fcr it is very gg.
Oh true but if you get 20% that frees up a ring slot for soj. Same with Barb. That also means that any extra amount past 10% is useless because it has to be compensated by a 10% fcr ring.
i have tried some times to craft amulets, what do you think about those please?
(cannot link)
(i mean what to vendor and what to keep ) i understand the FCR and +2 skills is tasty
for the ilvl if i guess right is: my char lv90 + terror zone lv92= 182/2= output level 91?
but sadly if i keep amulets and jewels (unid or not) got in 92lvl area and cube them, as you can see in images the results are not what i expected. (i feel quite dumb)
You could make a price check forum post here, in the trade section of the forums, reddit, etc. Typically crafted amulets have very specific desired rolls based on what the popular builds need with the other gear choices, so you could also look those rolls up.
Things like skills, FCR, stats and res are common, but certain builds need a certain amount of FRC on the roll, so a low FCR roll may make an amulet undesirable.
Yes, not showing ilvl sucks, and I really wish they’d give us that QOL on D2R, as well as showing stat ranges when hot key is pressed or something optional.
Even if at first you are unlucky with the rolls, don’t give up.
Suggest not going in a frenzy and spend all your wealth on crafting supplies.
I usually craft by self found supplies in batches of ten. Remember to use a level 93+ char to gamble the amulets to be 100% sure you have the right ilevel for max no of affixes.
My best was a +2 necro/20fcr/20All res/47mana/10%mana regen that I sold for 31jah. No jsp involved(personal choice)
