While searching for 4 socked sword I always read “farm normal cows” and my run on normal was no go. Can I reenter cow level on normal again?
I already have Writ’s Leg from nightmare which blocks me from picking up Writ’s leg on normal again. I need to trash Nightmare Leg first? (It doesn’t open portal on Normal)
you can not find a 4socket wep in normal period. You can trash the nightmare leg if its giving you problems. You can run and kill the cow king as many times as your heart desires.
False. Normal cows is the best place to farm a 4s crystal sword, period.
Edit: Yes, you need a white crystal sword and add sockets to it. Normal cows is the best place to get the base crystal sword with the best odds of rolling 4s with the cube recipe (or guaranteed 4s if using Larzuk).
false. You can not find a 4 socket crystal sword in normal cows. However you can find a crystal sword in cow level and then use the socket quest to get 4 sockets.
No item can roll 4 sockets on Normal difficulty IIRC.
However, a board or crystal sword found in the cow level can be taken to Larzuk to have it socketed, and the outcome will be 4 sockets.
I found my first 4os sword while farming nightmare Andariel.
