Hello, I play the game on PS5 and just got around to opening the Cow Level on Normal. Read that it would stay open, slayed everything, logged back in later and the portal is gone. Tried restarting twice, no luck. Please assist!
Hi, every time you start a new game, you need to open it again.
How do I go about that, do you know? I don’t have Wirt’s Leg in my chest anymore. Do I need to converse with someone?
You can go to Stony Field in Act I, find the stones & the portal to Tristram. There, in the lower left corner you will always find a Wirt’s Body which will always drop a Wirt’s Leg. Teleport back to town, cube it with a Tome of Town Portal and the portal will open. Note that if you get the Leg on normal difficulty, you can only open a Cow level on normal difficulty.

Did you kill the Cow King? Because when you kill the Cow King you also lose the ability portal for that character on that difficulty. So each character can only kill the Cow King a total of three times…once on Normal, Nightmare, Hell each.
That is false, you can kill the cow king as much as you want. That restriction was removed in resurrected.

Ahh, ok. I didn’t know that. I thought the game still played by OG rules for the Cow Level.
