I see a lot of people on the forum who bring up new content. I see very few people bringing up new classes. Personally, I’d love to see new classes added to the game. What about you? What classes would you like to see added? What skills should they have?
Personally, I’d prefer to see the existing classes balanced so that all are equally competitive before they even think of adding more classes to the mix.
I don’t think any class is useless. I do think a lot of skills are though.

hmmm.
Would love a character, thats a dualist/fencer type character, let them have increased Dam% based on like, IAS and run/walk speed.
Let them use 1 handed weapons(Specially swords) and off hand daggers and throwing daggers. Either have use special throwing skills, or defensive moves with non throwing daggers.
Class only item, would be rapiers. have rapiers require descent dex amount amount to use.
I dont know what else.
That sounds pretty cool. Some sort of blade specialist would be interesting to play. I like that idea since we have a ton of daggers in the game that nobody ever uses

Honestly i really wish they would balance the current skills and maybe even add more. We don’t need any new classes. We already have 7, but they have a ton of useless skills that should be made viable. but id say add a 4th skill tree to all classes, if anything like that.
I highly doubt new significant content will be added. The game is already finished and it wont have the same impact as when the original released. Its a nostalgia-remaster with several outdated mechanics.
Not to mention, that Diablo 4 is also currently in development and there should be the focus for more content. Its unlikely for Blizzard to spend ressources on a game that is already finished and certainly wont have the vast playerbase it had in the past.

with the way this game operates (new game running as a shell over the old) cant see this game getting new areas or classes. they would need to somehow also make them in the old style of the game too or it would break the whole thing so that isn’t happening.
I like all the classes at the moment and will be playing them most likely as of the new feature called ‘shared stash’, however, a long time ago I wish they could create one character that I still have in mind: Death Knight
But since Paladin is a holly warrior and Necro is not the best melee attacker, I need to stick with what we got.
i think they would need to balance the classes a bit so more trees are viable before we even start thinking about new classes but that’s just my opinion.
Always wished there was more Melee Necro and Sorc skills.
If I could add or alter some skills, I would add like a Flame Strikes(3 strike kinda fire zeal) to Sorc, Maybe a Lighting Thrust(lighting infused short range lunge thrust), Ice Bash(Cold Smite, empowered by Frozen Armor, etc)
Make Poison Dagger, a Poison Slash(maybe daggers get increased melee range with the skill?), Bone Breaker( Melee Bone move, if target dies to the attack, corpse explode the target), Change bonewall/prison to Bone Barricade(have it make a crescent shape in front of the necro, thats more sturdy then wall and prison, and give it a slowing thorns type damage for going near it)
If there aren’t any dupes and HR’s are actually expensive and hard to come by for many, I can see other classes being played a lot more. Classes that doesn’t require an Enigma to truly shine.
I rather see little tweaks here and there that makes for more viable builds than seeing new classes being added to D2R.
Just some tweaks for meele + amazon and we’re gold. After that new class? Suer! Why not?
