Well, finally got ahold of a Ps5 the other week. wasn’t even thinking i would have one till sometime next year. but got one of those invitation emails from sony. 
so, decided to get D2R for it. that way i could connect it to my bat net account and do the cross progression thing, or even just start a couple off-line characters to play on the Ps5.
So far, I have been able to play like less then 2 minutes at a time… literally… about 15-20 kills before it crashes!! several times in a row!! well maybe a little more then that so far. not good at all!!
Game looks good, and seems to play good… until Crash! then its game over and restart.
Thought they fixed this already? I was so amped to play on the Playstation, but dang!! those crashes are killing me!
I now understand why there are so many people upset! I have been fairly lucky with the pc version of the game i guess. Playing without to many troubles online. and no troubles at all in single player offline. but the console version is a train wreck!!
Hopefully, they get this sorted out soon. Ill probably check it daily… like about eveytime i fire up the Ps5. and maybe someday soon they will have it fixed. crossing my fingers anyways.
but for now. guess its a good thing that the pc version seems to be working fairly well.
Edit: not sure what I did? But seems to be running fine now.
