Connection interrupted

Yes, I just get kicked to the lobby every time, every game. Customer support said to run the WinMTR network tool, so I ran it and I show no packet loss, just waiting for reply back.Connection Interrupted WinMTR test - #6 by Jambrix - Technical Support - Diablo 2 Resurrected Forums

WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider

I am also getting booted any time I try to start or join a game. Occasionally I can play for as long as 20 minutes before getting a connection interrupted notice.

The very first hop after your router not only has a small amount of packet loss (109 recv of 110), but is also reporting the maximum ping spike of 2938.

Diablo 2 has always been very sensitive to packet loss. Even just 1% loss will eventually result in the connection dropping. The game is also sensitive to extreme ping spikes, which 2938 milliseconds definitely qualifies as an extreme ping spike.

This being the first hop after your router means it’s likely a problem either with the line between your residence and the first hop of your ISP, or there is something going on with the equipment of the hop itself. Either way, you’ll need to contact your internet service provider for assistance in addressing the issue.

TheDarkJedi is correct. The WinMTR is showing that the connection between your PC and router is perfect, but the connection between your router and your internet provider is suffering packet loss and high latency spikes.

You’ll want to contact your internet provider to have them look at that specific point in the connection and resolve whatever is causing the instability.
