Connection error caused loss of item

Because I don’t buy it. I will push them till I’m satisfied. I’m not some piece of garbage who will just replace it by begging people for items, buying it with irl money, or buying it with forum gold. Ofc what can I expect from a company who doesn’t even have the interests of it’s female employees at heart?

i’d say your on step 3, bargaining.

get the clean-x ready >.<

Are you mentally challenged? Grief and injustice aren’t even close to the same thing. Maybe you have some low-grade 3rd world education, but don’t try and be funny at my expense. Prolly buy your gear on mommy’s credit card.

maybe step 2 still on second glance.

yeah cause I need to be mad to call you out for being stupid and constantly interjecting, when I’ve said I want an employee to tell me.

what happens when the employee tells you the exact same thing?

you can always submit a ticket.
oh but they are also not obligated to reply to those either.

Demanding a response rarely gets one.

The support article is accurate. They do not restore items for ANY reasons. There are no second by second logs for Diablo games. The game saves snapshots of your whole account when you save and log out. It also periodically auto saves the account. If something happens between saves you will be taken back to the last save point.

The logs needed to do a rollback are the vendor, trade, drop, type logs. Those would show second by second what happened to items. Those don’t exist. GMs can not assist anyone with item restorations or rollbacks as a result. Unfortunately unscrupulous folks use these types of things to duplicate items. Give to a friend the claim it is lost and try to get a GM to make a new one. Not saying you would do that, but enough people do that Blizz won’t do anything without game logs.

The only game they have any in-game services for at all is WoW and they are restricted there by logs and policies as well.

MVPs are other players and don’t represent Blizzard, but I do know the answer and it is likely the only answer you will get. You can’t put in a ticket for a service they don’t offer for D2R which may be why you get errors.

With how easy it is to get gold, I’m curious why you’re even repairing Enigma in your cube.

Probably a superior base. Despite having to pay 250k gold every time it goes down drastically in durability, my barb exhudates gold so its not a huge deal. However, this is game breaking. I hope OP that you get excitement back, and I am soo sorry for what happened.

it is a shared enigma between a few characters. I have made 12 full geared characters, and I have a shared CTA and enigma, just cause I don’t want to make multiples. On my wind druid, I have very little gold, and I gamble shared gold on circlets on my barb. the repair cost was 509k for half the durability.

This is exactly how AAA companies flop and fail. I pay you money, you ignore me, I stop paying you money.

Company spits out garbage product with bugs… customer gets burned by a bug… and company tells him to piss off. We all accept it and fanboy the company and allow them to treat us like trash as we keep giving them our money and wonder why and how games like D2R was released in the way and state it was released in and other than graphics and some storage space, how little of a real impact it has for a full priced title.

Good job with supporting yet another open beta test for a premium company that now has to do the bare minimum until profits die off.

Companies do not die out from not listening to the will of every individual customer. Even if they wanted to respond and cared about every customer, the next customer has a completely different opinion on what should be done.

It’s hard to have any excitement for the game, when stuff like this just guts me. I pre-ordered it within minutes of the announcement, and I bought several copies for friends. I was excited and dedicated… enough to make as many characters as I have and play the trade market to acquire the best gear I can - 200/8 eth titan, godlike rings and circlets, etc. I put a tremendous amount of passion and time into the game. For there to be some policy like this that punishes people who EARN what they get… it’s just something that takes the wind right outta my sails. If it was my mistake, I’d own it, but i have proof of the incident… I can prove I owned it, and I have videos.

Since you have 12 characters that share it, have you checked all of them to see if it got rolled back to being on one of them randomly?

It is kinda BS that they won’t do anything if it’s a server issue. I quit MTG:Arena because their tech support told me that the cards I had that disappeared “that could never happen and we won’t fix it”… they eventually sent me back an email saying “Whoops, it did happen and we fixed it.” but it’s too late now because I won’t go back.

I hadnt played one of the other ones for a couple of days. I just played my barb and leveling a riftsin with my friend. I did check my trapsin and my bone necro, but its just not there. The CTA was still on my druid tho, so I don’t think it would roll back one item and not the other that I freely exchange between even more characters.

Probably worth checking though, I thought I lost some stuff from my shared stash the other day (not nearly the value of an Enigma) but I had just put it on a random mule on accident. Still ended up loading like 6 of my 14 chars before finding it.

Diablo 2 has saved account data that way since 2000. If you DC or crash between saves it can slightly roll you back. That is how it was programmed to work.

Now, does that feel good when it happens? No. It never did. However, that is not a new bug or change to the game. There have never been restorations for D2 either. It does not have that kind of support for good reasons which are explained.

To be clear, I don’t work for Blizzard or represent Blizzard. MVPs are other players who have a grasp on basic policies, resources, game functions, etc.

There is no policy to punish you. The policy is that GMs can only provide support that is backed up by Blizzard’s log files. They do not accept anything from players because it can be falsified. Not saying you would do that, but others less scrupulous do.

There are no logs showing where your item went. It could be traded, vendored, dropped, lost in death mechanics, etc. GMs have no way to see so won’t be giving you another one (or anyone else). This is how D2 has always worked. Not saying that is ideal, but that is how the game is designed.

WoW is the only game they have services for, and those are limited to what the logs can support.

Hopefully it turns out to be that you misplaced it in the shared stash or a diff char.

As I have said before, I put the item back on, then went to Black Marsh, where I was teleporting around, and then it crashed and I didn’t have it anymore. How on earth could it have been misplaced when I was using it?

They are not going to respond to you on this. So, take what people are saying as the reality because they are correct.
