I want to ask devs to add some new, extremely rare and useful unique items to TC87 to prolong our holy grail journey.

Rather this than new RW, but I’d also rather they make existing rare uniques better than add new ones.

Most of the high TC unique items should be reworked to compete with op runewords like Spirit, Enigma and so on.
There are a lot of hell bases that don’t have their unique versions, would be nice if devs fixed this.

Before they add new uniques, I surely hope they do something to make some of the useless ones usable…
I still haven’t found Tyrael’s Might… When I finally do find it, it’d be nice to do more than just gawk at it while it takes space in my inventory and eventually gets tossed on the ground.
Even just giving it the mod to roll 3-4 sockets would make it so much better. Maybe even drop the all resist and give it a level 1 salvation aura when equipped.

It is better to fix/ buff current ones, lot of uniques are garbage.

Here are my thoughts on adding new uniques. I used to think like that but then I realized that by adding new uniques you are adding more items to the oversaturated loot pool which makes getting specific items even harder to attain because of added competition in the loot pool.
So how does one solve this? One option is to repurpose old uniques and completely revamp them. There are so many trash uniques with level requirements that make them useless at their level that many players won’t even pick them up and that is a shame.

There are lots of base items that have no Unique version, especially for Elites and Class items. If my understanding of drop mechanics is correct, you could add Unique versions of those items and it wouldn’t really dilute the loot pool at all. When those base items are picked to drop, it then picks the rarity, but if there is no Unique version of that item, it picks a different rarity of the same base item. I’m not sure on the hierarchy past that point (like if it picks a Set item or just a normal item? It’s been a while…), but it wouldn’t compete with any other Unique item drops.
