It’s not quite as simple as copy and paste. You can’t mix expansion tabs with classic, hardcore with non-hardcore, etc. They would have to add additional conditions to make separate tabs for each possible character types. Though yeah, someone who was experienced with coding could probably do it in 10 minutes or less.
That’s the whole point. It wouldn’t take away weeks of development time, just a few minutes/hours and we would at least have something in the meantime.
Honestly, I just think the shared stash is a wonderful idea, and I’m totally a fan of more stash space. Generally speaking. Not unlimited; but I think the current shared stash is a welcome improvement that everyone would enjoy.

the shared stash should have been in day one but u know VV is a joke to me at this point everyone’s like oh they did this remaster and it was good… LAWL yeh (tony hawk pro skater) yup thats a hard game to remaster boieesss…
and then to try working on one of blizzards beasts and it makes u look like a joke
i have lost all hope for D2R they have sealed that deal as they still haven’t even gotten this patch out the door…
games been out 6 months at this point and they did 2 small Hotfix patches, nothing else, too even think this was worth my time but at this point i should have expected this, this is blizzard im talking about going the way of the dodo IE interplay/sierra so shameful to even think that, but at this point i have zero faith in VV
like the worst offender is the lobby ui and functions but guess what VV still wont fix this and probably never will, SAD BUT TRUE

Try playing only classic during the first season and you’ll understand.

Yes the space for storage is in adequate .
I think the solution should be no shared stash. If they are going to stay on this wacky idea of only one page for a new character. It just does not work. Right now you could say all the stash pages belong to the character that has the first page but now he has them all. If you need to xfer stuff to different char then he can create a game and after a few minutes can leave the game come back with another char and pick up off the ground.
I think that would be a huge improvement
dude we have been making posts for MONTHS… since day 1 of release when we realized its a problem and NO ONE has responded, actually we most of us have had our threads moved to dead sub forums or just outright have been banned from posting about it anymore. this thread is getting trolled because blizz responded to this… not the game breaking issues with their game but more stash space lol
IP restrictions cancel for classic WAS more important but the majority of players left so its whatever at this point, they got their money.

Anyone that actually played Diablo would know that 3 shared stash tabs doesn’t even begin to cover mule needs…
Hell, I can use 3 characters just for gems or low level sets…

The tiny stash is a gigantic problem in Classic D2R.
The lobby is something I ignore as in the original D2.
Classic needs the Shared Stash as the most important thing.
2nd issue is making sockets a bit easier as soj’s are too expensive now.
Please make your own post about the lobby issue and leave this awesome post alone.

Keep in mind this isn’t just about online PC play. You can trade items there via the old method of dropping on the ground, though it’s risky. On console & single player, this isn’t an option & there’s just no way to get items from one character to another, which really undermines the whole design of the game.

This is probably my 5th post in this topic. Again, no one is asking to keep the stash small. Why are you not implementing this Blizzard? Absolute joke. Should have been in from the start. The excuses you used are no longer valid, as you have already implemented greater changes to classic than adding more stash space. Why are you doing nothing? You have no excuse other than you couldn’t be bothered. Honestly, how pathetic.

Still looking for an update on this topic from Blizzard. Classic is being changed with upcoming patch and there is no excuse to not give Classic the shared stash and larger stash space anymore.

Season PTR just updated and loaded new lvl 1 sorc in town with same small stash and no way to create another account for muling.
I’m out of the ptr as I only play classic and there’s nothing for me here.
That’s okay too.
This isn’t my game, it belongs to Blizzard and Bobby K.
I’m just paying a one time fee to rent the game.
