i dont think you fully understand the lobby issue, its not the same as the chat.
the lobby is region locked so it keeps down on clutter in the xpac version of the game⌠all it does in classic is make it so no one can see games because there arent as many people playing. just turn region lock off for classic.
again the shared stash issue is peanuts compared to the game lobby issue⌠the game as you remember is not achievable with the broken lobby.

Shared stash, working private channels like 20 years ago, working lobby that shows all games, Pre-Expansion only patches, unlimited respecs.

So go and make a topic about it. This is a problem for classic AND expansion and they donât have a solution ready for it YET and we donât know if they even care about it.
While you are here in the TOPIC about [Classic] The Shared Stash, where they already have working code from the expansion and just donât care to implement it. It has nothing to do with the other problems currently existing.
So stop trolling pls

The code does work for expansion but it would still take time and extra coding to implement it for classic. First, they would have to change the stash size in classic. Then they would have to add additional if statements to separate the tabs. Would have to be like if not expansion, if not hardcore, if not ladder, if not single player. All possible variations of those. Probably wouldnât be difficult to do all this but the obvious reason we donât have it is because it would indeed take effort and not the âpuristâ reason.
Itâs not that hard. About 40 seconds of copyânâpasting stash code to implement extra space in classic, tops.
When Microsoft sees how completely incompetent Diablo 2 devs are and cans them, weâll finally get the promised and advertised expanded stash for Classic.
