At this point, I believe they do not care about D2R Non-expansion. PezRadar responded on June 21st 2021 and they’ve said nothing for 7 months. Maybe in 2023, when Microsoft owns them, we can petition Microsoft to provide this simple QoL improvement.

Please re-address this concern Pez. The increased stash size/shared stash is still part of the “previous life” of D2C. It will help negate the need for having insane amount of mules for people who play D2Classic.

I was beyond thrilled with the announcement of D2 resurrected having played the original Diablo 2 since it came out. Discovering that they left classic out of the shared/extended stash felt like a total low blow and shock to me. The reasoning from Blizzard as I am to understand was to keep classic as close to the original as possible. However now with patch 2.4 coming out and Blue posts confirming skill changes to the base game (Sorceress) carrying over to classic this reasoning is absolute GARBAGE at this point. I have always played classic over expansion as the itemization is way more interesting and have been forced to stick with the old tiny stash and muling items. The fact that the Classic community is being completely ignored on huge issues like games not showing in lobby as well as their bizarre logic behind the most reasonable QOL change is disgusting. If we are now getting new skill balance changes to CLASSIC then we should be getting the most basic improvement to the horrid muling and space problem.

Another daily post to ask for expanded stash in classic. Dillonious and everyone else in this thread have made very good points and the fact 2.4 changes are coming to D2 Classic, the stash size needs to be upped and a shared stash needs to be implemented.
It’s time Blizz. Please don’t leave the classic players out in the cold.

25 players who never play the game is not the kind of player base that can demand changes.
encourage micro-transactions for stash expansion and you MIGHT get this.
They messed up classic with 1.10 that’s why a lot of people left classic. Nobody is considering blizzard to revamp classic to some pre 1.10 status, but they could at least add the Stash features for the remaining few who still enjoy classic.
They shouldn’t have allowed classic characters in D2R if they don’t want to support them like equally paying customers.

Blizzard specifically noted QoL items in their post… WE WANT THOSE ITEMS! Micros-transactions is the PERFECT way to keep money flowing! We will pay up Blizzard!
I play classic as a break from LoD, it’s a completely different atmosphere in the game when there’s no runewords, no exceptional/elite items, it’s like you’re playing a new game.
But they are trickling all of the changes from LoD down except for the stash thinking that just because we play classic we want the game unchanged and that’s not the case. I always play at least 1 or 2 classic chars every now and then but 99% of the time I’m playing HC online Ladder with my friends.

Its more than QOL. Its necessary offline. You cannot mule at all in classic offline. If you find an item for a char you are not actively playing, you might as well just vendor it. IP games are gone so you literally have no path to mule anything in classic offline. At least online you can make a game and perm it rejoin ect.

they wont do anything for classic, the community as a whole has been crying for blizzard to fix the very few problems with classic and NO ONE responds.
since day 1 pre expansions lobby list has not worked and it completely broken. its almost like they have an agenda and pre expansion is not on it…

Blizzard took away the create account so we do not have mule’s of any value other than our very small stash in 20 character slots.
Blizzard ruined [Classic] in D2R.
If you want to fix it then give us the [Classic] Shared Stash!
