Charm inventory and large charm overhaul idea

Where in this thread is that mentioned? you’re seeing ghosts

As in, not this thread… It was another “charm inventory” thread from a long time ago.

Thats were he does that lol

He brought up the full 4x10 argument, that’s what I was referring to. Where in this thread, besides his own post, was that argument made against his 3x10 bait? lol

well, counting plenty of charms arent damage but survivability I dont know how well your made up numbers would work.

But frankly, If monster power increased, it would just make the choice harder. No need to remove the choice.

It would increase the value people place on charms, doesnt mean the system needs to change really at all.

Once again, its a player induced problem, player can solve it themselves. Either hang on to less charms or dont try to pickup every thing you see constantly to sell to charsi.

Yup. And they brought all the logical fallacies they could find. Sigh.

Don’t forget concessions/attempts to find a common ground, which were instantly shot down.

Sigh.

It is not so much about being against the charm inventory as it is understanding why the original developers did put it in in the first place.

I just dont see a point you know? For me its just waste of time for nothing. I am trying to be effective in what I do and I hate waste time. I currently play offline with a mod and I have this:

Imgur

Its so much more comfortable, i can play like two hours and not visit town once if I dont need potions.

your 3x10 suggestion is not a consession, it’s bait fishing for that

you hoped to get.

Maybe you should read the OP again.

Sure it is. You get a charm inventory, you can still pump all skills by +4, and a skill tree by an additional +9. If you want those extra small charms, you get to sacrifice some of your skiller charms.

It’s called BALANCE.

Read the OP again, you’re making a fool of yourself here dude.

There’s no fool like an old fool.

here, I’ll quote you the part you seem to have skipped over

cool and thats how you like to play. I also see you have like 4 charms there, even with out that charm inventory that would hardly impact your play at this point.

You dont see a point fair, but thats how the games designed. Nothing wrong with the design you just wish it wasnt how it is.

I dont like that potions pop off the belt when you die, Why! WHY Do I have to put them all back in! It angers me. Why cant they just stay in their!

Also, why does your inventory stay on your character when you die, but your gear on you stays on the body? is the inventory a void space existing outside of time, beyond the realms of sanctuary? How does it move with my reincarnation?

It just does. Is just how the game works.

And I gave you a good solution, a 3x10 charm inventory!

5 grand charms, 5 large charms, 5 small charms! W00t!
Or 9 grand charms, 1 large charm and 1 small charm! W00t!

You actually don’t need to understand why the original devs did what they did. My guess is they didn’t really think about the gameplay aspect of min/maxing charms in the begining. They thought lets add charms, cool things they can find to improve damage, they didn’t spend a ton of time focusing on the negative space aspect of it. They didn’t plan for a bunch of different aspects of this game, they just did the best they could, but I don’t think any of them would think that min/maxing invnetory or looting through a cube to be a cool or fun mechanic.

ok, going to be honest here. The designer did spend time on negative space aspect of it. The designer does it in many of his games, he likes it. Hes commented on it before and why he likes it.

Let’s say they also took life/resist/mana and whatever other mods you found on chars and averaged it out and removed that from all characters. Again in this scenario the damage would take an average nerf as well. Would then you agree to it? Probably not you want an excuse to just not change anything. Somehow you think that inventory management is a skill or something. Perhaps you should make highlight videos of you placing items in the cube and slowly removing it to put it in your stash. I’m sure you’ll get all the views lol.

Delusional post. The same dev’s created new content to get rid of duped sojs. Please lmfao.

Yes but it doesnt mean it should and its a good design. Just because something is in certain way doesnt mean it has to be like that forever.

I dont really see a point either, it kind of doesnt make sense, as potions are in belt, they are not attached to your body.

For obvious reasons. Others would loot your items and its punishement for dying.
