Character selection not corretly sortet after fresh start

Hello,

when I start D2R and view my online characters, they are not sorted as aspected. They should’ve been sorted by last played character. Somehow always the same character is above my last played character.

Sadly I’m not allowed to insert links into my post for a screenshot, ask Blizzard Support for this…

After I’ve played my normal character and go back to character selection, everything is sorted correclty with my normal character at top.
This happens everytime I start D2R.

Edit:
I found the reason for this wrong sorting after game start. It’s caused by when you are create a new character but never played him.

It makes still no sense to sort characters like that even if it’s not a game breaking bug/behaviour.

Did you further investigate this issue? What was the key thing to do to a new character to fix this issue? It seems that putting a bunch of items on it does not help. Do I need to kill at least one mob or something?

It sounds like the sort algorithm should substitute in the character creation timestamp if the last played timestamp is null, because nobody wants the never-played character to be stuck at the top.

Everything above is right, quick solution - just open and save all your characters once and then it will work normally.
