Why there’s no character name change feature?
It was possible in D2 legacy. Considering anyone can have any name in D2R, I don’t understand why.

Same question for them removing colored text code in game. Why? Whats the reason?

Yeah disabling colored text was a stupid thing. It was fun in LoD. Removing it removes some of the original spirit of the game.

My guess is they could potentially have something planned for channel titles with this new lobby update.

edit: my bad you were talking about in game text. One reason for that could be that some toxic players were exploiting it in hardcore by altering their text color to say “so and so has died or left the game” so players think they’re safe, but the player hasn’t died at all, and is on their way to kill them.

SC players should go back to SC. Hardcore is about Survival.

So what do you want colored text in the game for? Let’s start there and give a reason for Blizzard to implement it officially.

It’s a great reason, actually. Versatility and Uniqueness are sought after by most gamers, imo.
