The new character models look ok, but I miss the old ones (character select screen), especially the assassin and amazon, some players are not satisfied with the new models, I care how my character looks and I prefer the original design, we could have at least skins that are more like the original design?
btw, sorry if there is any spelling mistake, I’m not English speaker

the hair is scuffed on all of the classes for me (except barb duh)
its all black hairs. necro and amazon too. npcs as well.
i can vaguely see hints of the color its supposed to be but theres black smudge all over.
we complained heavily during the alpha and the beta and they flat out ignored us with a smug attitude thinking they were right and we were wrong.

i asked for 1 thing if they cant/won’t change the character models (we don’t know if it was orders from above that prevented them from changing the models) and it was granted. i won’t go into detail but just wait for the mods. they will offer much more options than skins and be for free
Worse part is the Original design of the Amazon wasn’t approved and they reworked her to make her look worse.

They just need to allow 3rd party artists to make new models and upload them for the community to use. Everybody is happy that way.
Just hit “G” and they will be exactly how you remember them.

She looks good, shape face looks the same like in-game somehow it’s graphically wrong.
About Assassin, just put a bit black marks around eyes like D4 Rogue and done. Original, she has big black eye lashes.

The old ones are the worst of all. You can’t even tell that any of them are humans instead of aliens or robots. They could be animals or just a bunch of blurry squiggly lines stuffed into a trench coat to look like a person, there is absolutely no way to tell.

Uhg, I don’t know about you, but I spent more time looking at the actual game, not the character select screen.
Doesn’t matter, the char selection screen is how the characters are intended to look like. The game itself looks bad because it was released in 2000 and even for 2000 it looked outdated.
