This morning I tried to log and got the “this character is already in a game” error. Relogged and he was gone (23 druid act IV). I’m new to d2 and this was a huge bummer grinded prob 9 hours
Same! I launched Diablo 2 remastered on 24.09, created a character and played it for a hour to level 5 (class: necromancer, name: Querra), then left the game and turned it off Battle.net. Today, I discovered that my character was missing. How can I save the created characters in Diablo 2 remastered or does it possible to restore my character?

Same here my lvl 20 paladin completly gone
Same I Lost my online lvl24 barbarian after exiting the game back to the menu, I have tried everything but couldn’t get my character back, guess I am luckier to put less hours than other people with more hours into the game and lose all their game progress (at least you don’t lose any items in your shared stash).

Level 39 necro and my 14 Assassin both gone after just trying to relog for a fresh Baal run. 2:00 PM EST 9/26/2021. Hoping it’s because of the server maintenance but will be refunding/charging back if not.

Yeah same here logged in played for a few hours got a druid to i think level 6 with decent gear and save and exit/quit and boom he deleted acted like he wasn’t even made.
Level 36 Sorc and lower level amazon both gone at approx 2:00pm EST today 9/26/2021
Had anyone got their character back??? My level 70 sorc just went missing and my other low level character
Just killed baal normal solo lvl 45, got a nice tarnhelm and waterwalk boots drop to take me into nightmare, watched cinematic and left game and i was back one level and wearing old gear. Tried to join game and got an error so reset the game. Now all my characters are gone including my harcore sorc, WHAT IS GOING ON I WANT MY MONEY BACK
