So we never going to get more character space? Because its impossible to have mules and characters on an account. Honestly dont even have enough space to make numerous of each class… Because with all the problems d2r has , this is just a joke…

I’m betting we’re going to get more character slots whenever the first ladder rolls around. It better be something more generous than just +20. I’m hoping for at least a minimum of +40, +80 being ideal.
I still want my sacrifice a char slot for a mule with 3x personal inventory stash space to come true as well.

No… Im talking about if i want to make say a berserk barb and a whirlwind barb, then a ele druid and a shapeshifter… so on so forth. you simply cant and have mules… Not part of the game to not be able to play and make what you want. bruh…

I’d imagine ladder characters wouldn’t share the same stash.
glad there’s no delete character cooldown timer on this game. I’ve seen ones that make you wait 24 hours to delete and create new characters lol
I agree, we need more characters. It is unrelated to muling. I just have too many characters I am playing through, plus I want to start hc shortly and that will take a few more spots up.

Changes like these are easy enough. As someone who works in a data driven industry I can tell you that number and data matter and they can take some time to collect. If there is a lot of people logging into D2r it’s in their best interest to monetize that player base. If they want more characters to stay playing the game that’s an easy choice for a tech firm…
I hear you. what you’re describing was traditionally done mostly on single player in the past so folks could copy paste the character files and share or save them. some guys have characters that date back a long time. if you ever find a good build you want to keep that’s a good way to back em up before you delete. but it only works in single player obviously.
I imagine it’s capped for a reason for now though. and just see it as another obstacle to play around… it’s a feature till it’s confirmed a bug lol…

Not to mention there’s literally not enough character slots to play all the game offers? SC non ladder (x7), SC ladder (x7), HC non ladder (x7) HC ladder (x7), SC Classic non ladder (x5) SC Classic Ladder (x5) HC classic non ladder (x5) HC classic ladder (x5). At bare minimum, we need 48 character spots, to play the bare minimum the game offers. Even without ladder, we need 24 character slots to play the bare minimum. We don’t even have enough character slots before ladder, it isn’t isn’t a debate. Let alone anyone who would want to make more than 1 class/build. You know, for pvp, or off meta builds. Notice I didn’t even talk about mules, which are also virtually required to the tune of at least 7 mules, minimum. So please don’t argue this artificial and flat out wrong limit on character slots is “part of the game”
