After the recent server issues, i finally get back in-game and find out that one of my characters whom i was playing midst a crash is counted as dead among HC, i know the character itself at the time of the crash was not in danger in any way of death and this is rather disappointing as i have spent sufficient time on it. i would like for the character to be restored if possible.

I have my doubts they can/will do anything mate, but I’m hopeful for you.
Server stability is the only reason I made the decision to play softcore (at least for now). It’s just too much of a gamble (not even just the downtime, but the weird lag/stutter I get intermittently in the game, it concerns me, as I’ve had some close calls with my softcore character due to the albeit rare moments where there is a lag spike).
Much respect to you for going hardcore, it is how I usually play the Diablo games.

I know with items they cannot restore, but perhaps an entire character’s HC death, maybe they can restore that?

I know the frustration but don’t expect anything. It sucks, yes.
