“All chat lobbies have been outfitted with an automated system which will remove malicious messages from those conversations.”
You mean all “1” chat lobby that exists. You have still screwed up the whole lobby chat system and obviously have no intention of fixing it.
“remove malicious messages from conversations” … but still absolutely NO intention of even bothering to address lobby spam much less tackle it. We already knew you were pro-bot, but this just goes to show …
OVERPOWERED enigma and now OVERPOWERED mosaic … however … BK set [which no one uses] is so overpowered that knockback has to be removed??? And this became a high priority because … ??? Man you guys suffer from such an advanced case of “Anal-cranial-inversion” that it is pathetic!!!
You elected to fix “text” issues, “cosmetic display” issues, and other issues that have no game effect, yet let major issues go unaddressed? WTF is wrong with your brains here? Does going to college make you stupid?
*** and you wonder why your online counts in D2R are dropping and why people do not play D4?? YOU are the problem!
I have no intentions whatsoever of playing D3, D-Immoral, or D4, ever. As a matter of fact, I will not buy ANY future diablo releases as long as the current team is in charge there …
I will revert to D2LoD and play offline tcp/ip before I EVER buy another game from them. I have never seen a gaming company go to such lengths to protect bots, refuse to listen to the community, and be so downright STUPID!
Oh yeah … and …
***“Amended various stability issues encountered during online polay”
My response:::
WHERE?!?!
****“Fixed an issue where Mephisto would drop from lower-level treasure classes when terrorized.”
God forbid a bot get a low drop in a terror zone, OMG!!! Much less getting a Tancreds drop from Hell Mephisto. GOD FORBID!
Welcome to the problems that are generally attributed with gargantuan companies that are internally cash strapped by their own management, for the sake of protecting their shareholders interest and their own pay bonuses.
Bobby Kotick and Co. have done a wonderful job of tarnishing the image of the old Blizzard we knew.
@dev … spoken like a true botter/d2store owner. !! BTW, which account are you an alt to …? Also, your “kiddo” snipe, no affect. You see, to be insulted by the likes of you, I must first value anything you have to say. No chance in hell of that.
How this guy has managed to hold on is beyond me, he obviously has a little black book with some nice trash on people in it.
@Oliasys
unfortunately the lobby system is dated. Most players use discord to get together and considering the situation it must be said, this is not at the top of the list.
The urgent ports that need to be closed are the dupe and bot farm ports. Rest at the moment is freshness
It depends a lot on how you are using the weapon. But yes, removing Knockback from a weapon isn’t necessarily a nerf, depending on how it is usually used.
Basically, if you are using the weapon to dish out as much damage as possible, then Knockback is a negative because it pushes away the mobs from the source of damage.
If you are using Knockback as a way to avoid being overrun by mobs or as a way to bully uniques by knockback-locking them into walls/corners, then it is a positive.
I will guess that Bul-Kathos’ Sacred Charge having 35% chance of crushing blow, it’s incoherent to give it knockback.
It’s quite obvious they went lackluster on D2R patching this ladder because of the D4 release date. Don’t worry, they’ll most likely have more than usual to add for next ladder.
It sucks, but it is what it is. D2R is a remastered game, but it’s still an old game. The priority right now is making sure the new shiny product launches as smoothly as possible. The better D4 does, the more likely they are to continue working on the older games. D2R doesn’t have an on-going revenue stream.
