Changes to Character Deletion Interface Announced

Blizz just posted some patch notes for today, October 12th, 2021.

Two things that are critical (I think!) are discussed.

  1. Character deletion interface was too easy to accidentally delete chars. This is being changed for Console and PC.
  2. Some stability/crashing fixes. They did not specify what. I THINK these are the random crash to desktop fixes though. Taking the crash logs we submit and tackling some of the most common causes they found in them.

This is good (and expected) news.

Funny how much people are willing to discuss this subject until a solution is brought up.

I have not noticed any download today, but it would be great if they could include version numbers in their patch notes so it would be easier to make sure.

Agreed. I have idea when we get the PC patch. None. They also did not tell us exactly what will change. It is rather frustrating.
