Chains of honor didnt work in 4 socket bone weave

DOL UM BER IST
chains of honor didnt work with 4 Socket Body Armor bone weave.

Normal armor with 486 def changed after socketing to pompous armor
only with skill of the 4 runes and not activating chains of honor.

yes did the runes in the right row.

What can i do to acitivate ? or are runes DOL UM BER IST lost?

Pompous sounds like a magical affix, is the armor blue? It has to be gray

All runewords work without problems (except delirium on mercenaries). So there is a 99% chance you used a blue armor or mixed up the rune order

4 socket grey Body Armor Bone wave. Normal roll def 486 no extra magical affixe or sth else.

After socket DOL UM BER IST chaning into blue Body armor.

Only giving stats of the 4 runes and not of Runeword " Chains of honor".
I think runeword has the right row.

You, sir, are incorrect. It definitely NEVER EVER and most certainly must NOT be a blue base if you want a successful runeword.

Runes and armore were found by myself in diablo i didn’t trade anything.

Ber was found on lvl hell in Act 4 - Chaos Sanctum
2 Mal runs for craffting ist rune also in Act 4 - Chaos Sanctum
Um rune was done by hellforge quest.

Bone weave base grey with 4 sockets in act 5 lvl hell

More often then not, its because the item was a Mechanics/Artisans/Jeweler’s Base item which is NOT a runeword compatible item as the affix ADDs a socket to the item but is classified as a magic item.

You used a blue item. You just lost your expensive runes. Ouch. You just found out the hard way. Item MUST BE GRAY.

Your screenshot shows that you used a magical/blue “Jeweler’s Boneweave” base. It has to be a plain grey one.

It was grey it turned into blue.

It’s a Splendid Boneweave you socketed at Larzuk, from the looks of it.

This is why it didn’t work. Jeweler’s is NOT a base item. Its a Magic Affix that ADDS sockets to the item. Not a bug.
