Cant see chat or type anything in chat in lobby or ingame

I have this exact same thing. Can’t write in any chat. Makes trading impossible, makes playing with anyone else but friends impossible. Basically makes multiplayer just useless and it’s super frustrating.

Exact same issue for me. I’ve tried everything and have seen zero responses from blizzard. I played in every alpha/beta version leading up to this and could chat fine.

Two days ago i could type in the chat , set up my /players7 and then close the chat window. Now I type in the message window [GAME] and it instantly disappears. No feedback that the command was accepted. no ability to chat with anyone. what gives? How do i get the window to stay until I’m ready for it to close?

Have same from a 2 days and its realy hard to play with others when you cant post on chat, This is sad for me a lot

Same here from a few days ago everything was working fine and no nothing makes the game really hard to trade….

Seen multiple people saying the same things as us and nothing from blizzard yet

Same here. All was working fine, I added someone as friend (first time), then next game I was unable to see people messages, neither mines.

Can’t trade anymore :frowning_face:

I’ve run a “verify and repair” from launch button and it seems to have fixed the issue !

I just had this issue, tried a lot of stuff, it looks like switching to another character and then back to the one I was having issues did the trick.

have the same in game and in lobby issue… trades impossible :(, multiplayer questing and everything has to be done with party window open to see where people are at…

same here…;
5 runs maybe 10 15 and after i can restart the game…
i try repair , but no, still bug.
2 times with the seal of diablo, i’m playing in alone on computer, so sometimes, go until the seal, and see the bug… it’s… i’m french.

Same issue with chat not showing up. I have to resort to whispering and even then it doesn’t always register
