Can't revive champions

Hi there.
If i get it right, you should be able to revive enemies up to unique.
I can only revive normal monsters. (And minions)
I can not revive champions or uniques.
Anybody else experiencing this issue?

This is working as intended. You are not able to resurrect those types of monsters.

Is this new in D2R?
Because every guide i read, mentioned, that you can not revive super uniques and bosses.

One guide suggests to revive champions and uniques preferred, because they retain some of their special attacks… (icy veins)

It’s my first Necro, so i have no comparison.

You can’t revive Bosses, Super Unique monsters, Leapers, Undead Mages, and some other monsters. You will know which monster cannot be revived if you are unable to select their corpse when attempting to cast Revive.
