Can't move past Act 2. Put the staff in and nothing happens. I am using PS5. It says to press "X" I press X and nothing happens... This is the 3rd character I played and same ol' same ol'. Help!

Got to the end of Act 2. Place the staff in, nothing happened. It says to press X, I press X and nothing happens. This is the third character I have played and I can’t get past this. Has Diablo changed to only act two now or is there more to this? When I played this years ago on PC there was so much more to play. I don’t know what’s going on is it me? Is the PlayStation 5 version different? Help! I know I’m not the only one because I’ve seen people complaining about it. Please fix this or do something!

Assume the staff is in the cube. Are there other items in the cube?

Or you completed all the Act 2 quest. At the entrance to Duriel with the complete staff?
