Can't log in with one of my characters

I can log in with all of my characters online except for one. It will say game join failed or
the screen will just turn black. What’s going on?

They don’t have customer service that you can direct contact.

Mine is that way for a few as well, FML, cant play my mains. It stays on a black screen and forces you to task manager it to death.

same here : some chars work, others get a black screen after creating a new game :frowning:

Same here. One of my mules has stuck at black screen too.

same here.

tried the following:

  1. different servers - same issue with NA, EU and Asia
  2. changing grapics settings - same issue
  3. checking graphics drivers - all updated
  4. reinstalling d2r - still downloading (will update if it works)

**update: reinstalled but still same issue.

  1. tried different difficulties - same issue
  2. tried different characters at different levels - same issue
  3. tried naked characters vs fully stacked characters with runewords/full inventory - same issue

very close to quitting this game

Same here. Black screen on my FOHDin i’ve been waiting to play.

SOLUTION:
Guy i might found a solution. It somehow worked for me.
Im EU srever andi got black screen and couldnt play the game.
I switched to America server and the game loaded and i could play.
So i switched back to EU server and now it just works…

SO just switch and switch back servers
