Insta death everytime ive loaded into boss arena. Is this 40 dollars wasted on an unfinished product?

Thawing potions are your friend.
Tried that. I spam a few. Lower graphic settings to old school and still dead the instant the loading screen changes
What console are you on?
Ps4. Its a first gen. And im going to have to upgrade im just gona build a pc. Console sucks nowadays
Ah I’m on xbox or id help ya out. I think it does work better on ps5 but this has been an issue since original d2 and its made worse by d2r having horrible load times on all platforms. Blizz should def fix this. For some classes duriel is a pretty tough fight even when you aren’t stuck in a loading screen being attacked for like 10 seconds.
If you’re online def try to find a group or someone to beat it for you… If solo the a2 mercenary, bunch of thawing potions for you and your merc, grinding levels… Better gear etc. Good luck
Some advice: The moment loading screen begins immediately hold the stick to move so as to reduce damage taken and make sure to have a Mercenary hired during Act 2. The Rogue Mercenaries in Act 1 die pretty much instantly and then you’re on your own if not in a group or a Summoner Druid or Necromancer.
If you manage to survive by doing this, deal as much damage as you can then escape via Town Portal to restock Potions and revive Mercenary. If you do not survive despite trying to move out of the way then you either didn’t invest enough into VIT to have at least decent Life or you are just plain squishy. Solutions would be gain some more levels and check your gear. Gambling typically contains better gear than the Blacksmith does.

I keep reading about this issue but in my first play through I hit Duriel as a sorc at level 21 with crappy gear on PS5 and no issues of instant death.
Is it an old gen issue? One thawing potion and a few health and mana potions and he went down.
Ya I’ve had the load screen for duriel last 20+ seconds. He can start hitting you before you get out of the loading screen. I keep seeing people say you can run around and spam skills and potions while this is happening. It def didn’t work for me when I tried.
Friend someone and have them pull him away from your character as you load in.

I’ve noticed on the older gen systems there’s a longer load time compared to the newer systems
I’ve always done it with a friend so I haven’t had to worry about the bug
All I can say here is, try to fight the lag monster… put a tp up outside the boss room and then another once you get in. Be sure to bring rejuves and pop pots near the end of the loadscreen. Also, be ready to buy your merc back multiple times.
Hey what’s up.im having some big issues finishing act 2 I don’t understand why so many enemies are so OP.its so upsetting.i can’t progress the way I need to and I’ve played as the necromancer for the first play threw and couldn’t get past the boss before talrasha.and he kills me and my minons in one hit…i don’t understand.is there any good farm spots to level up.idk what to do at this point.
