I was going to post this in the Bug Report Forum, but I’m not sure if it’s intended. So, for now, I’ll leave it in this General Discussion Forum as a suggestion.
The Personal Stash Tab works as intended. However, some items cannot be placed in a Shared Stash Tab or stacked with partially stacked items in a Shared Tab.
- Wirt’s Leg – Normally, I would leave Wirt’s Leg on the ground when doing the Rescue Cain Quest. When I was ready to run a Cow Level, I would just go pick up another one. Now that we can run multiple Cow Levels on any Game Difficulty, I thought I’d stash a few for my Main as well as my Alts. However, D2:R will not allow me to stash Wirt’s Leg in a Shared Tab. I had to stash it in the Personal Tab instead.
- Scrolls (Town Portal and Identify) – I picked up an extra Tome and decided to store it in a Shared Tab so an Alt would not have to purchase (or find) their own. No problem here. But, when I tried to put some extra Scrolls in it, I was not allowed to. At first I thought the Tome was full. But, mousing over the Tome revealed there were only 7 Scrolls in it. I had to move the Tome to my Inventory, stack the extra Scrolls and then put the Tome back in the Shared Tab.
- Keys – If I have a partial stack of Keys in a Shared Tab and pick up some extras, I cannot stack them with the partial stack in the Shared Tab. Instead, I have to pick up the partial stack from the Shared Tab and drop them on the Keys in my Inventory and then move them back to the Shared Stash.
- Arrows – If I have a partial stack of Arrows in a Shared Tab and pick up some extras, I cannot stack them with the partial stack in the Shared Tab. (Same routine as Keys).
I’m sure there’s other stackable items that suffer this flaw. But, it’s just one more thing that makes playing inconvenient and frustrating.
